Summary

This position is located in a Field Office of the National Labor Relations Board. This position is established as a "trainee position", assisting the region with case handling work including investigating representations petitions, unfair labor practice charges, and handling election proceedings. Assignments are closely monitored and developmental.

Duties

As a Student Trainee (Field Examiner) GS-0299-7, your typical work assignments may include:

• Examining parties' records and excerpting data from collective bargaining agreements, grievance reports and correspondence.
• Preparing reports of investigations.
• Interviewing witnesses, taking their testimony and affidavits.
• Processing relatively simple representation cases through all basic phases of case processing.
• Managing agency and other applicable electronic file systems to reflect all stages of case processing, age of case, and the collection of relevant data.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,082.00 - $52,106.00 per year
