Job Summary
Under general direction of the Dean of Students and indirect reporting to the director of assessment and research for Student Affairs for divisional strategy alignment, the Administrative Analyst serves to ensure students' success by identifying, supporting, tracking, and evaluating the effectiveness of the programs and services offered by the Office of the Dean of Students . This includes working collaboratively across campus with many departments, including Admissions, Financial Aid, Office of the Registrar, and Academic Affairs. The Administrative Analyst will build processes and procedures, develop and implement assessments, generate reports, and utilize data to strengthen the infrastructure of the Guardian Scholars Program, Students with Dependents, and Basic Needs initiatives.

Within the Office of the Dean of Students, the Guardian Scholars Program, Students with Dependents, and Basic Needs Initiatives provide support services, resources, and opportunities in order to assist students to build a supportive network, foster an inclusive community, and develop knowledge and skills for lifelong success.
Key Qualifications
Ability to research and analyze information and to apply independent judgment, discretion and initiative in recommending appropriate solutions to resolve problems.
Expertise in administrative survey techniques, operations and systems analysis, statistical and research methods, and the ability to interpret and evaluate results to develop sound conclusions and recommend new or revised policies.
Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques.
Ability to use tact and diplomacy to effectively handle a broad range of high level and sensitive interpersonal situations with diverse personalities, and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, establish, and foster communication and teamwork by maintaining a positive, cooperative, productive work atmosphere in and outside the University with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse population and with those from various cultural backgrounds.
Education and Experience
Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university. Three years of technical or administrative experience. A graduate degree in a related field may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
Classification Range: $42,216 - $81,492 annually
