Job description
- Performs clerical duties such as opening mail, filing and routing forms to the appropriate staff members.
- Reconciles student health insurance waivers and billing.
- Reconciles student payment plans and updates Banner. Monitors holds.
- Disburses financial aid according to federal and institutional policies. Processes payments.
- Coordinates and process student refunds.
- Coordinates and sends communication for deposits, insurance, graduation holds and other deadlines.
- Provides day-to-day student support, troubleshooting concerns and determining appropriate resolutions. Researches and responds to concerns expediently.
- Associate’s degree in Business / Accounting or relevant area.
- 1-3 years experience in student accounts, accounting or banking
- Experience with Banner or other similar ERP system preferred
- Excellent customer service
- Strong working Microsoft Excel experience
- Ability to multitask in busy office environment
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
