POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist in month end close, trimester consolidations and reviews, and annual audit. Analyze monthly divisional financial statement versus budget. Reconcile balance sheet accounts. Analyze foreign currency transactions and prepare related journal entries. Play key role in coordinating and communicating divisional billing, reporting and information to management and other corporate personnel. Our corporate U.S. headquarters is located in West Chester, Ohio, a suburb north of Cincinnati, Ohio and we are hoping you could work on-site 2-3 days per week.


PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in monthly financial close, trimester consolidations and reviews and annual audit.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and confirmations with affiliated companies
  • Analyze actual financial result versus budget and forecast and explain the variances.
  • Prepare billing information to affiliated companies.
  • Process fixed asset additions, disposals and transfers; calculate depreciation and complete fixed asset reports.
  • Review, correct and post daily sales updates.
  • Create and modify vendors in LEAN and Sage.


PERIODIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare review, audit and consolidation schedules.
  • Serve as interface with other departments and affiliated companies in relation to general accounting matters.
  • Special projects as assigned by supervisor.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of five years of accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with foreign currency and foreign exchange transactions is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Sage is preferred.
