Job description

Star Trolley is looking for a Driver to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner in our beautiful white trolleys. Driver responsibilities include planning each route based on road and traffic conditions. Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, making sure clients depend on us for their transportation needs. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid Florida CDL with “P” endorsement and air brakes restrictions removed, and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Map out driving charters ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road construction, as needed
• Answer clients’ questions about the area and local places of interest
• Fuel vehicles as required
• Communicate with clients prior to assignment
• Assist Tour Guides on Tours as directed
• Drive safely
• Perform other related tasks as assigned
• Ensure vehicle is properly secured
• Have fun

Skills

• Proven experience as a Driver
• A valid Florida CDL with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brakes
• A clean driving record
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Availability to take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Perform standard Daily Vehicle Inspection Report tasks
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
• A high school diploma
