The Senior Vice President will lead the development, performance, and growth of the Veteran Evaluation Services business. They'll be knowledgeable in administrating Medical Disability Examination services or private sector disability examination services, VA policies, Veteran benefit programs, operating mechanisms, politics, influences, and relationships will be critical to success in this position.
Job Summary:Project Specific Essential Job Duties:
- Ensure delivery of services as specified within the VES contract(s).
- Ensure delivery excellence through program management and customer relationships to meet or exceed SLAs for quality, timeliness and customer satisfaction.
- Continue to refine the strategy and vision, leading the development of executable plans
- Evaluate VES current capabilities, services, and platforms
- Identify gaps and weaknesses and areas where we may need to enhance current capabilities, partner, or acquire additional services
- Focus on employees, customers, and business partners to achieve its strategic deliverable plans
- Establish strategy and delivery plans, including the development of capabilities and strategic partnerships
- Work with client to leverage, grow, and expand associated medical disability exams work
- Developing a highly strategic process that consists of a diverse values-based culture, technological innovation, and an ongoing determination to continuously improve VES processes and systems supporting excellence in operations
- Experience managing and leading large-scale federal programs in the clinical and medical exam areas
- Identify and prioritize key areas where solutions can drive significant business benefit
- Oversee timely and accurate reporting of operation metrics for business leaders and the client
Project Specific Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, masters’ degree in health services or business preferred
- Experience in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs in support of an agency’s mission
- Significant knowledge and understanding of the VA agency as well as strong client and industry relationships related to these accounts
- Experience managing largescale federal P&L's, including financial, personnel, and other management requirements
- Understanding of legislative oversight of federal entitlement programs and associated briefings, reporting and testimony associated with such high visibility programs
- Adept at directing large projects, overseeing budgets, managing deliverables, and working on multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven ability to adhere to project timelines and budget
- Able to collaborate with combined internal and external teams
- Capable of developing strong growth-related relationships.
- Knowledge of Federal agency processes and systems
- Veteran with medical background desired
