WHAT WILL YOU ACHIEVE
Core HR Services is a part of Pfizer’s Global Business Services (GBS) and Transformation group. It is responsible for the design and execution of core HR global processes administration for the full employee lifecycle, excluding recruitment and onboarding. Additionally, Core HR Services is responsible for the delivery of the full employee lifecycle service support from a business process outsourcer (BPO). Core HR Services will operate out of regional service centers for excellence (quality, efficiency, effectiveness and impact).

The Sr Manager, Regional Core HR Process Lead for Core HR Services will enable a best-in-class employee experience by providing experience design and process optimization expertise and operational leadership to a team responsible for regional core HR administration processes design and implementation. In this role you will establish and lead a team of diverse and qualified process experts, who will enable the delivery of high-quality and proactive services to our colleagues out of our GBS Regional Service Center or implemented by the business process outsourcer. This role will partner closely with the site teams along with the Global IBM Lead and Global Core HR Process Leads to drive consistency across regional service centers and provide a seamless experience for all Pfizer colleagues
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
  • Oversee regional process design operations for excellence (quality, efficiency, effectiveness and impact); including defining work standards and evaluating staff
  • Ensure the Regional Process Team is focused on priorities through activity-based metrics which demonstrate continuous improvement and provide a competitive advantage to the various businesses
  • Drive regional core HR services requirements for the full employee lifecycle, excluding recruitment and onboarding, and report out on processes and operating metrics defined within global strategy and governance for all HR processes.
  • Maintain existing regional standardization and govern future standardization; incorporate input from the colleague services regional service centers and global teams to prioritize and deliver enhancements, which optimize benefits for and across multiple functions
  • Implement all process re-engineering of functional requirements in order to achieve the process improvements needed to satisfy evolving customer needs
  • Partnering with other Regional Leads, develop the regional guidelines to execute the global strategy and governance for all HR processes.
  • Partnering with the Core HR Global Process & Optimization Team, measure the effectiveness of HR processes using key performance indicators and other performance measures; implement and resolve regional process changes and issues while maintaining global standardization.
  • Partner with all teams within the Regional Core HR Services organization that works in the overall context of Pfizer’s global HR service delivery model
  • Embrace and lead the effective management of matrix reporting structure and shared accountability for core HR objectives, thoughtfully and effectively manage critical interdependencies
  • Work with the GBS and Digital technology leaders to define and improve global tools.
  • Create and maintains an outside network for best practices in the shared services arena; with frequent benchmarking required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8-10+ years of HR functions, employee experience, process design, project management and/or operations experience, 2-4+ years of service delivery
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Organization Development, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Detailed understanding of HR business processes, data access stewardship, HR programs & policies and service delivery
  • Ability to provide guidance to ensure the regional process team effectively, accurately, and consistently applies process standards
  • Extensive background and hand-on experience in customer experience; process and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong coaching and consulting skills and ability to influence decisions to a positive business outcome
  • Ability to work, lead a team as well as influence across a highly matrixed environment; ability to mobilize key internal and external stakeholders and engage both colleagues and senior leadership and to manage third party providers
  • Ability to work across business units and geographies and service colleagues across the region
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking skills; ability to translate strategy to a tactical, executable level
  • Experience leading multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a pragmatic approach and results orientation.
  • Ability to influence others, delegate, lead, coach, and mentor in a virtual or co-located team-based environment.
  • Ability to resolve escalated issues and problems quickly, efficiently, and independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficient in English
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Admission, Finance, or related field
  • Experience working with global HR service centers, transitioning work from HR to a centralized shared services team.
  • Experience working with HR enabling technologies including call center and case management tools, knowledge base management, and process documentation. Workday and SalesForce / ServiceNow experience highly preferred.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday in a global environment which will require occasional off-hours conference call
  • Will require travel to BPO partnered location and limited country travel within region
  • Ability to travel: 5-10%
