Roles and Responsibilities:
- Track usage trends of the organization's websites, including number and quality of visitors, advertising campaign impacts, and grow our prospecting and customer acquisition volume through content and technical strategies to increase our search market share.
- Develop and maintain dashboard reports that measure financial results, customer satisfaction, and engagement metrics for marketing campaigns and activities.
- Manage vendor relationships for SEO and SEM needs. Monitor and optimize assets and improve organic search rankings with the ability to make recommendations based on the data.
- Build and update websites and build marketing landing pages for website campaigns.
- Oversee web analytics software and track regularly for change and reporting purposes to track performance of traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Work with Marketing and Communications for keyword analysis and competitive analysis for content strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Communications, and WebDev teams to ensure SEO activities are maximally optimized and correctly attributed.
- Work within CMS platforms to manage updates and content creation for Ryerson-owned websites.
- Track, measure, analyze, report and assist with the optimization of the Ryerson website, CRM & automation tools, and digital support for marketing campaigns.
- Perform ongoing site audits, comprehensive keyword research, on-site content optimization, inbound link acquisition, and competitive analysis.
- Test marketing messages, product descriptions, calls-to-action, popups, page layouts, page designs, page flows, target URLs, etc. for conversion optimization.
- Use data to identify issues and create clear actions to improve website performance and KPIs
- Work with the broader marketing team to support digital, traditional, and omni-channel campaigns.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School degree required, with applicable work experience.

- 3 or more years of relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate data into consumable information
- Proven experience using CMS for updating website content
- Strong data analysis skills
- Specialized Knowledge of web marketing systems such as Google Analytics, Google Tags, CMS, Experience employing SEO tools (e.g. Moz, BrightEdge, SEMRush, HotJar, Siteground).
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a plus
- Ability to manage time and priorities while driving multiple projects at once
- Experience employing SEO tools (e.g. Moz, BrightEdge, SEMRush, Searchlight Conductor, Brightedge)
Experience Required: 3 - 5 Years
Education Required: Bachelors Degree Preferred
