What’s the job?

Sr. Content Writer – Interior Products Group (IPG) is an integral part of the marketing and product management team responsible for the development of marketing and advertising collateral. The focus areas are to support Segment Marketing Manager – IPG and Product Managers within the ceilings, gypsum and insulation businesses by working closely with our Graphic Designer – IPG to develop new marketing and sales tools. In this role, you will be leading the process for creating content and writing long and short copy for a variety of marketing tools and media channels, including: creating new literature pieces, or updating existing collateral; developing content for digital applications (social media, website, email, online banner ads, etc.); collaborating on animated content and video creation process; articles and case studies; product packaging, promotional flyers, event posters, and displays for trade shows. You will also be responsible for leading content creation for interactive digital tools, stay up to date on industry trends, perform competitor research on an ongoing basis, look for marketing opportunities and provide recommendations for new and innovative marketing tools.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Creative Advertising, Marketing, Liberal Arts and Humanities, or similar is required.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience leading the process of creating marketing and advertising content and writing copy.
  • Creative out of the box thinking. Ability to come up with new ideas and concepts to create innovative marketing and sales tools.
  • Experience handling multiple projects and tasks with varying score of work and priorities. Self-motivation and time management. Accountability and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience employing latest design trends.
  • Experience creating video and animated content, as well as content for interactive tools
  • Previous experience working for construction industry, interior design, or architectural firm is preferred
