Job description

Global industry leader is looking to hire a Sr. Business Systems Analyst to assist in building the next generation program scheduling application for broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms. This is a remote position but would require coming into the office 1-2 times a week.

Salesforce Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Work with business partners to understand their functional and technical requirements to engineer Salesforce based solutions
• Aid in identifying, documenting and implementing process improvements in business areas
• Perform analysis and research in support of requirements definition for high level scoping of projects
• Prepare documents such as: BRD, solution diagram, use case list, process flows, functional design, wireframe, user stories, object description, training materials, and guides
• Create and present requirements documentation to wider technology team and cross functional business partners
• Perform various testing and QA functions as necessary. Work with developers to ensure that development is in accordance with requirements.
• Report back to user community with regular status updates
• Assist in user acceptance testing, change management, and user training
• Design data migration plan and prepare data mapping.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field with 7+ years experience related to duties and responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC models including Agile and Waterfall
• Ability to communicate concepts to management and to cross-functional departments or teams verbally, in writing, and through pictures or diagrams when appropriate.

Experience working with Salesforce applications.

• Visual Modelling (UML, DFD, DATA Modelling, ER Diagrams, Activity, Sequence, Use Case Diagrams, Wireframes)
• Hands on experience with Confluence
• Strong working knowledge of JIRA or an equivalent issue and project tracking system
• Strong project management skills
• Scrum Master Certified preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $95.00 per hour

Schedule:
