Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address speech and language needs.
- Document therapy sessions and maintain up-to-date records and reports in compliance with school and state requirements.
- Write IEPs and attend IEP meetings as needed.
- Manage caseload for assigned students with language and speech services as their only service, including referrals at assigned site.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience working with diverse student populations with a variety of speech and language needs, ages 3-18 years old.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
