Speech Language Pathologist (CCC or CF)
Job description
Our Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist will help families by providing treatment and therapy for children with speech and language delays. The Speech Language Pathologist will also collaborate closely with parents, physicians and teachers to create individualized treatment plans for children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other developmental disorders. Responsibilities:
- Work in a group practice
- Work with a variety of children with speech, language, and swallowing issues.
- Train and supervise students or volunteers.
- Work with children who have autism spectrum disorders.
- Work with children who have language delays.
- Plan treatment goals and outcomes, which may include improving articulation skills, inflection, fluency, or grammar.
- Refer clients to other professionals when necessary.
- Provide support to parents or caregivers of clients.
