Job Description
Swanton Elementary School has an opening for a licensed K-6 speech-language pathologist beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. The successful candidate will be skilled in evaluation and clinical skills for a school setting. They will join a talented team comprised of special educators, a school psychologist, and another speech-language pathologist.
The SLP will be expected to provide both direct and consultative services in the areas of articulation and receptive / expressive language and communication needs. They would also conduct evaluations and recommend and develop appropriate related goals, collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff, and serve as a member of the special education team. Case management, including the ability to work successfully with families, caregivers and related services providers in essential.
The applicant must have a Vermont Educator Speech-Language Pathologist Endorsement. Experience working in a school preferred.
