POSITION : Two (2) full time Special Education Teacher starting in the fall for the 2023-24 school year

QUALIFICATIONS :

Required:

• Michigan Teaching Certification & highly qualified as defined by ESSA.

Recommended:

• Exceptional skills in planning, delivering and assessing student learning, creative and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work with special needs students.
• Working knowledge of best practices and instructional strategies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and families.
• Ability to provide and maintain an orderly classroom environment.
• Provide differentiated instruction for students and make accommodations based on individual student data; ability to identify and incorporate strategic and intensive interventions as dictated by individual student data.
• Maintain accurate and complete student records and prepare reports on students and activities, as required by laws, district policies, and administrative regulations.
• Use technology systems to manage records, generate reports, and analyze data to drive instruction.
