POSITION DETAILS:
- 8:00 am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday
- Full-time
- 12-month position
Responsible for the provision special educational services in a therapeutic setting to students (18+) in a transition setting from school to work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have standard NJ TOSD or TOH certificate
DUTIES:
- Provide educational services under the supervision of the principal and assisting staff.
- Possess skills to create a structured, therapeutic, learning environment for students with behavioral and cognitive challenges.
- Be familiar with documentation of educational and behavioral functioning.
- Can contribute effectively with as a member of the IEP team.
- Function as liaison, when necessary, with parents, community, schools and agencies
