Holden Farms is currently seeking a Farm Supervisor!

Sow farm supervisors are responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of the farm, directing and providing leadership to farm team members, accounting for all costs and production volumes at the unit level including spending/budgeting, the safety of farm team members, bio-security of the unit and team member compliance with bio-security guidelines, and all environmental issues.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience managing teams, experience utilizing all aspects of farming to produce a high-quality product, and strong communication skills. This is a fast-paced environment where time management, leadership, and communicaition are necessary qualities.

Requirments:

• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university preferred; or 4+ years related experience and/or training; or 2 to 5 years of Swine Experience preferred. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Must be proficient in the English language, reading and writing.

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to work with and around a wide range of antibiotics (i.e. penicillin).
• Must tolerate blood, animal dander, manure, dust, odors, and frequently noisy conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
