Whirlpool is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Sourcing Senior Analyst, Procurement at our Benton Harbor, MI location. Employees in this role can work a hybrid schedule of three core days in office and two days remote. This enables employees to come together to collaborate in-person and gives employees the added flexibility to work remotely.

In this role you will develop and execute a global Commodity Sourcing Strategy that delivers a competitive advantage for the company’s current and future product portfolio. This role will lead to deliver breakthrough results for the critical key performance indicators (KPI). This position will engage cross functional stakeholders such as Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing executives to drive solutions. This person will utilize effective Supplier Relationship Management techniques to enhance commercial and operational performance.

Your responsibilities will include

• 
  Manage supplier relationships to achieve Quality, Cost targets and Delivery performance.
• Manage productivity projects and supports day to day operation
• Create and executes sourcing strategy. Lead sourcing decisions, negotiate commercial terms, and generate contractual agreements with global supply base for new and existing parts/services. Mitigate risk by having agreements with suppliers. This role will be responsible for managing a portion of the Metal Components CBT, (Community Business Team) Suppliers for Whirlpool's NAR operations
• Accountable for negotiation and commercial outcomes in a supplier facing environment
• Manage supply base to improve cost predictability and delivery performance 2. Identifying and leading cost-reduction efforts
• Generate improved cash flow
• Create a strategy for each supplier
• Work with other Commodity Business Teams to identify synergies, and consolidate supply base

Minimum requirements

• 
  Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years’ experience in Supply Chain and Procurement

• 
  Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Business, Supply Chain
• SAP ERP experience
• Project Management experience
• Experience with MS Office (focus on Excel)
• Experience with GS3 o like platform
• Negotiation skills (contracts and/or quotes)
• Continuous improvement mindset with “operational know-how”.
• Demonstrated ability for problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and desire to find the root causes of an issue
• Work independently and communicate effectively with wide range of audiences
