Solutions Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software and infrastructure solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving complex problems. This is a highly collaborative role that requires working closely with clients, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement complex software and infrastructure solutions for clients, ensuring that they meet business requirements, are scalable, and are secure.
• Collaborate with clients, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to identify business needs and define technical requirements.
• Conduct assessments of existing infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
• Develop and maintain architecture and design documentation, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurately reflects the solution being implemented.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities to incorporate them into solutions for clients.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including solution design and proposal development.

If you are right for this role, you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), including architecture and design, implementation, and management.
• Strong experience with software development, including programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong experience with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a customer-facing role, such as a pre-sales or consulting position.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience with network security protocols, cybersecurity tools and technologies, and incident response procedures.
• Strong understanding of risk management and threat assessment methodologies, as well as experience with security compliance standards and regulations.
• Customer intimacy and knowledge of the Department of Justice and its component's mission and technical environment.
