Summary:
Performs accurate construction activity tracking, while maintaining the safety, schedule, quality, and environmental requirements of a utility-scale solar project.
Requirements:
- Lead by example to show that safety is the most important function, ensuring that all employees follow safe practices while working.
- Accountable to continually reinforce safe behaviors and correct “at risk” behaviors.
- Ensure Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures.
- Understand and adhere to client’s expectations.
- Professionally communicate to strengthen and continually maintain client relationship.
- Support budget and schedule preparation prior to commencement of the project.
- Perform quality checks to ensure that established processes are followed.
- Facilitate resolution of technical and engineering queries that arise from the field, including drafting/completing documents such as requests for information, technical inquiry forms, and transmittals.
- Ensure labor, equipment, and materials are procured promptly to support the project schedule and report findings to Project Engineer.
- Ensure all permits required for the project are in place and maintained properly
- Support the superintendents in daily time submittals.
- Track and report staffing, equipment, and material quantities on a daily basis
- Provide accurate daily construction activity data and quantities
- Facilitate resolution of technical and engineering queries that arise from the field, including drafting/completing documents such as requests for information and transmittals.
- Aid the development of project standard work instructions and inspection and testing plans.
- Perform quality control checks and to ensure processes are implemented according to the quality plan and that all work is inspected in a timely and consistent manner.
- Prepare and support closeout documentation, job books, and lessons learned.
- Provide the required documents, drawings and other forms to active projects for monitoring and maintaining the Environmental Management System.
- Support developing projects to complete all required permitting activities before commencement.
- Ensure training is provided and certifications are maintained on field staff to comply with environmental requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (equivalent is 8 years of experience).
- 3+ years of Experience working in a construction environment.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home as required.

Anticipated base salary range: $71,000 - $84,000
Per Diem: ‘Premium Daily Per Diem paid for food, lodging, and rotational travel’
The final agreed-upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.
