To strengthen our team in Stolberg (near Aachen, Germany) we are looking for a Software Integration Engineer (f/m/d) for Simulator Systems.
Your tasks:

Support in the development of requirements specifications
-
Support in the development of the software architecture
-
Elaboration of the SW detailed design
-
Coding of the software
-
Planning and execution of unit, subsystem and system tests
-
Support in the preparation of documentation (manuals, SW documentation, integration documentation, integration status reports)
-
Preparation and implementation of user training
-
Support in checking and documenting the extent to which the systems to be integrated fulfil the integration requirements
-
Integration of software on customer and test systems
-
Ensuring correct communication of hardware and software
-
Carrying out and documenting the hardening of systems in accordance with IT security specifications
-
Supporting the timely implementation of the TRR
-
Creating regular backups of subsystems
-
Support with acceptance tests
-
Support in the creation of the master configuration
-
Support of the client/user in the acceptance phase
Your profile:
-
University degree in computer science, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, telecomunnications or a related field
-
First working experience in a relevant or similar field
-
Good knowledge and understanding of programming languages (C, C++, Python or similar) or shell scripting
-
Thorough understanding of configuration management systems and hardware interfaces
-
Knowledge of network technologies
-
Working knowledge of one of the following systems: Unix/Linux, and Windows

Knowledge about System-Architecture or Software-Architecture

Ability to work independently, good teamwork and communication skills

Fluent English communication skills
