To strengthen our team in Stolberg (near Aachen, Germany) we are looking for a Software Integration Engineer (f/m/d) for Simulator Systems.
Your tasks:
  • Support in the development of requirements specifications
  • Support in the development of the software architecture
  • Elaboration of the SW detailed design
  • Coding of the software
  • Planning and execution of unit, subsystem and system tests
  • Support in the preparation of documentation (manuals, SW documentation, integration documentation, integration status reports)
  • Preparation and implementation of user training
  • Support in checking and documenting the extent to which the systems to be integrated fulfil the integration requirements
  • Integration of software on customer and test systems
  • Ensuring correct communication of hardware and software
  • Carrying out and documenting the hardening of systems in accordance with IT security specifications
  • Supporting the timely implementation of the TRR
  • Creating regular backups of subsystems
  • Support with acceptance tests
  • Support in the creation of the master configuration
  • Support of the client/user in the acceptance phase
Your profile:
  • University degree in computer science, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, telecomunnications or a related field
  • First working experience in a relevant or similar field
  • Good knowledge and understanding of programming languages (C, C++, Python or similar) or shell scripting
  • Thorough understanding of configuration management systems and hardware interfaces
  • Knowledge of network technologies
  • Working knowledge of one of the following systems: Unix/Linux, and Windows
  • Knowledge about System-Architecture or Software-Architecture
  • Ability to work independently, good teamwork and communication skills
  • Fluent English communication skills
