We’re the Setup, Settings, and Essentials (SSE) team of System Experience, and we exist to empower customers to make an Apple device their own in a fast, easy, reliable way and to complete Apple systems with delightful, performant, essential applications and components. We’re looking for an architect and technical lead to help us solve our most impactful, complex problems. Is that you? And you’re using our essential applications, frameworks, and daemons right now — we own clock (including alarm, timer, stopwatch), accounts, and calculation framework & apps, to name just a few things. In your architect and technical lead role in SSE, your responsibilities will range from advising and reviewing several teams’ work to directly leading some of our most complex, impactful initiatives. You’ll set and uphold high standards for technical execution and actively invest in the growth of your teammates. You’ll also collaborate with outstanding engineering and cross-functional partners who will help you succeed and grow as we deliver incredible user experiences together.

Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent skills and work experience

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,000 and $242,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
