SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Full-Time M-F | Solon, Ohio
We're looking for an experienced Software Engineer who can specify, design, implement, test, and document software for our machine vision systems; participate with in-house and on-site evaluations and demos; and support our global customer base. Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Design, implement, test, and support software to be used in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) of Pressco’s current product lines
- Assist in design definition and specification of small enhancements and projects.
- Generate documentation for internal and external use
- Assist in whole product testing for software releases
- Support Sales / Marketing / Operations as required
- Establish and maintain effective work relationships within the company, its customers, and community
Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years working with the following:
- Microsoft Windows 10 / 7
- Microsoft Visual Studio IDEs,
- C/C++/C#, .NET, VC++, STL, MFC, Win32, WinForms, XML
- Multi-process and multi-threaded design environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Machine Vision experience a plus
Ability to Commute/Relocate
- Reliably commute or relocate to Solon (required)
