With approximately 100,000 planted acres in California's San Joaquin Valley, Wonderful Orchards is the world's largest grower of almonds, pistachios, and pomegranates. We are looking for a Software Developer with years of proven experience in multiple web development disciplines. The candidate will take on a role as a lead developer in a mature/ evolving environment. We currently support several dozen applications within a centralized on-premise environment. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support. In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code
- Improve existing software
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming, or related field and 5 years of software development or equivalent combination education and experience
- 5+ years professional experience in object-oriented design and implementation skills.
- Expertise in C#, .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Git, Visual Studio, IIS
- Strong problem resolution, troubleshooting, and QA skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and multitask
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microservices/APIs/containers
- API management
- Experience with bi-directional integration with microservices based systems
- Familiarity with mobile application development with Xamarin.Forms.
- Front end development experience (Kendo UI).
- Familiarity with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server administration and/or Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE).
- Experience working with Oracle e-Business Suite, developing inbound/outbound interfaces, and knowledge of the underlying data models.
Pay Range: $105,000 - $125,000, and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
