The Markens Group is hiring a Marketing Coordinator to join our team of detail-oriented, flexible high-achievers! In this role, you will work with our Marketing team to manage daily posting and scheduling for all assigned social media accounts. You’ll monitor online engagement by tracking comments, mentions, and direct messages across social channels, escalating comments as necessary to appropriate team members. You will be part of a team that works together to build and execute communications and marketing campaigns. This is a great opportunity to work in a cross-functional team that includes project, event, and account managers, as well as creative specialists, communications, and marketing experts.

This enthusiastic marketer will be responsible for tracking and compiling assets and communication across the TMG team with a goal of ensuring key business goals are met on relevant marketing and communication channels.

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:

· Coordinate, post, and monitor organic and paid social content across various social media channels for 10+ clients.

· Contribute to multiple clients’ success with your passion for storytelling, expert writing ability, and strong organizational skills.

· Develop and write communications for clients, including social media copy, website copy, blogs, articles, press releases, newsletters, and promotional emails.

· Manage projects, coordinate logistics, and ensure the delivery of integrated campaigns/projects with excellent customer service.

· Define key performance indicatorsfor each communication channel that will indicate a campaign's level of success.

· Update website content(WordPress) and create social media graphics as needed.

  • Manage and make strategic recommendations on paid social and digital media plans, clearly outlining recommendations on budget, copy, and creative.
  • Use social media management tool(s) to monitor and respond to online conversations and engagement while also presenting relevant data, trends, successes, failures, etc.

· Analyze the performance of social media campaigns, tracking and reporting on traffic, engagement, and demographics by creating digital analytics reports. Present findings, and offer ongoing suggestions based on best practices.

· Develop and create engaging social and video content - IG Stories, Reels, and interactive social posts and remain knowledgeable & in-tune with latest social media trends.

· Serve as a team player and fill in wherever is needed.

Qualifications/Skills & Requirements:

· 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media marketing.

· Creative self-starter with the ambition to learn and grow.

· Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

· Knowledge of professional social media marketing and relevant channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Team player comfortable working in a multi-team environment (The Markens Group and a dynamic group of clients)

· Critical thinker with problem-solving skills.

· Strong attention to detail and proofing skills.

· Ability to multitask and switch tasks quickly.

· Exceptional time-management skills.

· Comfortable participating in internal discussions and brainstorms.

· Desire to learn current and upcoming social best practices and trends.

· Degree in marketing, communications, PR or equivalent field preferred.

· Experience with social media scheduling, analytics, measurement, and reporting tools preferred.
