Social media + Community Coordinator: LIC

As the Social media + Community Coordinator for the Cliffs at LIC, you will be responsible for creating and posting content across Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok with goals of brand awareness and community growth. You will also be responsible for engaging our social community and developing innovative ways to engage with our audience. This position will report directly to the Marketing Manager as well as work closely with General Managers, department heads and facility staff to keep the community updated on facility-level updates.


In this role you will:

  • Strategically and creatively communicate and market The Cliffs brand and locations across Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok

  • Grow The Cliffs at LIC’s social media following and engagement

  • Work with Marketing Manager to measure, report on, and optimize performance

  • Oversee community management on Instagram and Facebook accounts


Primary responsibilities and duties:

  • Strategically and creatively communicate and market The Cliffs brand and locations across Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok

  • Manage social calendars, including creating content, scheduling, posting and copy writing

  • Continuously brainstorm and innovate new ideas within the social space

  • Manage community engagement with social audiences, including moderation of/responses to comments and direct messages

  • Film Bi-weekly setters pick for social posts.

  • Collaborate with department heads to post content including clinics, instruction updates, retail features, setting schedules, weekly boulder, and more

  • When appropriate, outreach to local influencers via Instagram DM and other avenues to engage and invite them to The Cliffs

  • Manage Facebook Group including admitting members and managing conversations when necessary.


What we are looking for:

  • 1-2 years of experience in social media + community management

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-sufficient and dependable

  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator

  • Canva experience preferred

  • Be available for remote meetings as needed

  • Has a passion for climbing!


Compensation/Benefits:

  • $20-23/hr

  • This is a part-time position (15-20hrs per week)
