YKTA is seeking applicants for Skilled Maintenance Team Members (Robotic Welding, Stamping, and Tool & Die) at our facility in Huntsville, Alabama. YKTA is a joint venture of three successful automotive supplier companies- Y-Tec, Keylex, and Toyotetsu. YKTA products provide structural safety for the vehicle and important functional parts that must operate as designed. YKTA is an on-site partner and tier one supplier for Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, USA.

• Maintenance is implementing a new 2-2-3 schedule which allows for planned days off.
• Opportunity for increased pay above top range through advanced skills training.

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour (*based on education and experience)

*Additional $1.00 per hour shift differential while working night shift

Summary/ Objective:

Provides technical shop floor support and preventative maintenance to the Welding and Stamping departments

· Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required

· Regular attendance is required

Essential Functions (but are not limited to):

Machine Maintenance

· Using multiple skills, install, maintain and repair robotic and spot welding, stamping press and related machinery in a high-volume automotive advanced manufacturing operation

· Install, troubleshoot and repair PLC driven equipment to achieve and maintain equipment operation targets

· Troubleshoot and repair electrical apparatus, wiring, electrical & electronic components of machinery & equipment

· Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment

· Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment

· Create and maintain preventative maintenance activities

· Repair and maintain physical structure of facility

· Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools

· Complete documentation and repair records

· Maintain work area and equipment to ensure it is clean, orderly and follows required safety regulations

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives centered around equipment efficiency and reliability and as such, will help educate team members at all levels of the organization and contractors

Tool & Die Maintenance

· Inspect, maintain and repair stamping dies, jigs and related equipment in a high-volume automotive advanced manufacturing operation

· Lift, move and separate dies safely using hoist or crane

· Troubleshoot to find root cause of problems and make repairs to tooling

· Interpret customer prints, engineering specifications, layout results and functional requirements

· Clean dies as needed

· Polish, grind, and hand finish die tooling as needed

· Hand weld, operating various welding equipment

· Measure die parts using metric scale

· Disassemble and assemble to design specifications

· Wire limit switches

· Fabricate items as needed

· Operate milling machines, lathes, and surface grinders and other die manufacturing machines

· Complete documentation and repair records

· Maintains work area and equipment to ensure it is clean, orderly and follows required safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

· 2- year associate degree in related field or Journeyman certification or 4 years equivalent work experience or training

· Ability to pass pre-employment skills test

· Ability to read technical equipment manuals and follow instructions

· Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required

· Strong attention to safety

Other Duties:

Must be flexible to work in all areas and in your department regardless of duties listed above in order to accomplish YKTA Goals and objectives.

Environment:

· Work is conducted in an industrial office/ plant setting

· Frequent movement throughout an industrial plant environment being exposed to high noise levels and equipment normally used in stamping / welding/ Ecoat environments

· Frequent manual lifting of parts or containers up to 33 lbs.

· Frequent to constant standing and walking
