Job Description


The Registration Representative facilitates an efficient and professional registration process through the attainment of demographic and financial information, via face-to-face registration, that is pertinent to appropriate reimbursement and statistical analysis. This position will require registration in multiple systems as well as familiarity with financial and authorization requirements for relevant setting. Communicates appropriately with the medical center staff, physicians, physician offices, community members, families, and community agencies.


Qualifications


Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Vocational / Technical Degree: Business or Secretarial Coursework (Preferred)


  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks/motion.
  • Must have good manual dexterity.
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and

computer screens.
