Alliance is seeking a Site Supervisor for Alliance Medical Center
The Site Supervisor will oversee the functioning of key systems vital to clinic operations, including: safe and effective clinical staff workflows; efficient systems for scheduling; management of clinic flow. The Site Supervisor will play a central role in the clinic’s goal to achieve a team-based approach to care that supports transformation to Alternative Payment Methodology (APM) and optimizes the electronic health records (EHR). They will facilitate key process improvements in patient access measures, clinic flow, population-based quality improvement, and patient experience. Leads by example in managing and embracing a diverse patient population and staff according to the mission and vision of AMC.
Responsibilities include:
- Under the direction of Operations or Clinical leadership, the Site Supervisor is responsible for implementation of daily operations including directing, planning, organizing, supervising and coordinating the services of clinical operations at AMC.
- Monitors and ensures operational performance goals are maintained throughout locations. Directs assigned management team to optimize staffing, appointment schedules, workflows policies and procedures, to meet performance goals.
- Utilizes the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process to identify opportunities for patient flow and scheduling changes.
- Responsible for maintaining assigned site’s facility operations and licensing, including but not limited to general maintenance of buildings, construction projects, renovations, furniture and non-clinical equipment, janitorial services, IT, security systems and telephonic systems. Works with staff and department heads to ensure facilities issues are addressed properly and efficiently.
- Leads and supports as required process improvement initiatives that enhance Team Based Care activities, and improved clinic flow. Maintains efficient patient care work flow through a team approach.
- Collaborates with the Quality Department, Medical Director, and Clinical Leadership to develop, review, and update policies, procedures, process improvement, training, and evaluation that help support efficient clinic workflows, productivity, quality improvement, and customer service.
- Ensures compliance to federal, state, regulatory and local County programs’ policies, procedures, and standards regarding: quality assurance and improvement, customer service, patient access, productivity, confidentiality, and management of electronic registry, including but not limited to Vaccine For Children (VFC) program.
- Supports clinic compliance with rules and regulations that impact clinic Operations, including participation in audits and development and implementation of Corrective Action Plans.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervises Medical Assistants and assigned sites’ operations and facility needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Two years’ or more experience in healthcare/ direct patient care
- Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience;
- Current CPR certification;
- Bilingual in Spanish and English;
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to establish work priorities to meet organization’s needs; remains calm and effective under pressure;
- Must be self-directed and detail oriented as well as flexible with changing priorities;
- Ability to use MS Office programs, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Effective problem solving and ability to analyze and use data for decision making;
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred;
- California license or certification as a healthcare professional preferred;
- Experience training other MAs, preferred.
- EMR Proficiency in EPIC.
Pay Scales based on Licensure:
- With CMA/MA Certification: $65,000-$80,000
- With LVN/RN Licensure: $80,000-$130,000
