Job Summary
We are searching for a lively, highly organized shuttle bus driver to provide employees with a safe trip to and from work, and arrange consistent weekly grocery runs for employees. This position will also be responsible for daily/weekly pick up and deliveries of products from local suppliers and the transportation of retail items to and from the warehouse. The shuttle bus driver will be required to determine the correct pick-up and drop-off times and locations for all trips mentioned above. The driver should fully understand and adhere to the department of transportation laws and limits. And, ultimately, an extraordinary shuttle bus driver will be able to maintain normal wear and tear issues on the shuttle/truck as well as help diagnose and remedy basic mechanical problems that may arise. Below are the components that each Shuttle Bus Driver must perform to ensure success in the role.

  Maintain transport schedules based on passengers' needs
• Arrive at pick-up time prior to departure times
• Confirm that all passengers are present, and record no-shows
• Ensure adherence to passenger limits
• Avoid high-traffic and accident-prone routes, where possible
• Record and report all major accidents and incidents to your supervisor
• Check that passengers are dropped off at the correct destinations, and in a timely manner
• Ensure that the shuttle bus is fueled, well-maintained, and presentable at all times
• Observe all relevant traffic and safety laws

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to effectively communicate with employees, peers, and management
• Ability to multitask, and take ownership of the different tasks that are assigned
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
• Certified to transport individuals via shuttle bus
• Certified to transport goods/supplies via box truck
• Previous experience driving groups of people
• Outstanding knowledge of applicable transport and safety codes
• First Aid training is preferred
• Excellent route planning abilities
• Great interpersonal skills
• Amicable and optimistic disposition
• Working knowledge of pertinent car maintenance and restoration techniques
• Ability to work flexible AM and PM hours
• Full time and part time available- $15 per hour
