We are looking for committed, energetic, and driven leaders. The Shift Leader assists the management team with day-to-day store operations and overall performance.

The Shift leaders in our stores are a key part of helping our retail stores achieve the Goodwill mission: changing lives through education, training, and employment.

Key Duties

• Supervises and collaborates with store staff regarding work assignments and performance.
• Engages with guests while on the sales floor and assists as needed.
• Ensures the proper rotation of all store merchandise. Maintains all visual presentations, i.e. shelving and display racks.
• Ensures a clean and safe environment in the stores, processing area, and donation center.
• Verifies cash drawers and completes the bank deposit at the close of business.
• Meets retail production goals for grading, sorting, hanging, pricing, and tagging donated items to prepare for sale on the retail floor.
• Participates in loss prevention control by reporting suspicious activity to the Management team or Loss Prevention Director
• Acts as a positive role model for team members, trainees, and guests in all aspects of professional development.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience or training.
• Must be able to participate in donation processing, up to 40lbs.
• Experience in retail, production, or hospitality is a plus.
