Job description
We are looking for a Cashier to join our gas station. Cashier responsibilities include taking the cash register, interacting with customers, and stocking. Previous experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise other team members to maintain a clean and well run location
- Keep coolers fully stocked
- Resolve customer issues
- Checking in deliveries
- Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Issue receipts and change
- Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain a clean and tidy store front
- Perform dusting and front facing
- Stocking Merchandise as needed
- Count Invetory
- Cooking
Skills
- Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role in sales
- Familiarity with cash register and POS
- Good math skills
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Customer satisfaction-oriented
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and able to bend and sit on the floor
- Must be able to stand for 6 hours at a time
- Be punctual
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
