Job description
The SharePoint Developer has a good understanding in designing, developing, and maintaining custom SharePoint Solutions, Forms and Workflows for different departments and teams. SharePoint Developer will collaborate with business partners to understand requirements, create documentation, test the solutions, debug errors, and manage projects. Solutions will be robust and easily maintainable, understanding the ever-changing needs of the business. Must be self-motivated, a constant learner with the desire for continuous improvement, and a great communicator both written and verbally.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintenance of SharePoint environment and sites
- Design and Development of New Site/Functionality
- Complete environment maintenance necessary to keep the SharePoint platform up to date and functioning smoothly
- Reproduce production bugs in lower environments and provide root cause analysis and code corrections.
- Ensure compliance with SharePoint best practices, standards, and governance policies
- Make recommendations for any changes to help ensure robustness and security of the SharePoint environment
- Make changes requested by Business Partners to their existing sites
- Conduct UAT with Business Partners to ensure solution meets their expectations
- Implement change into Production environment
- Work with Business Partners to gather/document requirements
- Design, build and document the solution
Experience
- 3+ years SharePoint Online Development
- SharePoint Framework
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- PowerShell
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLCs)
- Debugging and Testing, UI and UX design, Understanding of Cloud technology, .NET (Framework and ASP), JavaScript - Plus
- C#, CSS, HTML / XML - Plus
- Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart
Education
- Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
