Responsibilities:

The Service Technician position is pivotal in supporting the achievement of Rankin’s business goals and objectives. In this role you will perform diversified duties to deliver, install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain equipment according to safety and company processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for delivery, pick up, and service in between
• Repair and replace faulty or defective equipment and report any unusual situations to Supervisor.
• Loading and unloading equipment from trucks.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment.
• Responsible for reading and understanding technical information needed to perform maintenance or repairs.
• On call rotation with other service technician

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined person looking for more training
• Basic tool knowledge
• Driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Experience working in an environment that operates with strong customer focus and safety conscious.

REPORTS TO: Service Manager

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, and accountable for working within defined timelines by management that may require mandatory overtime as applicable to the business demands.

• A sign-on bonus of $600 is payable to you in two installments. The first installment of $300 will be paid to you on the pay period following 90 days of your employment and the second installment will be paid on the pay period following your 6 (six) month anniversary.
