Job description
The Service Supervisor – Cement will be responsible for conducting all necessary job calculations for the cement job; ensuring a safe work environment on the job site; and monitoring the work performed by the equipment operators to be carried out effectively and meeting customer satisfaction. Acts in a lead capacity, providing guidance to one or more cement crew equipment operators.
This position will work under the direction of the Operations Manager - Cement .
Detailed Description:
- Perform accurate calculations on all aspects of a cement job, to ensure they are carried out properly and according to customer expectations
- Serve as the "safety mentor" for the cement crew on well-site, addressing any safety concerns
- Prepare customer invoices on the job site, recording job data from a data recording system
- Carry out the "quality control" and "quality assurance" role on the job site, to ensure customers' needs are met and the best customer service is provided
- Maintain regular contact with current customers, to provide excellent customer care and to seek new opportunities for potential and new businesses
- Represent the Company and our values with integrity while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all customer interactions
- Demonstrate financial responsibility in adherence to the Company’s travel and entertainment policy
- Manage and negotiate ongoing vendor services and support service level agreements

Job Requirements:
- Proven ability to lead and train the work of others and document training provided
- Ability to demonstrate safe work habits and work well with others and audit compliance
- Proficient in the use of computers and applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook) as well as other software applications to drive efficiency in productivity
- Able to work closely with others in the confined area of the job, in a fast-paced team environment, and work independently when required or directed, taking initiative when necessary
- Demonstrate well-developed customer service skills and strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Able to perform simple mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, to make job related calculations; basic computer skills are necessary
- Demonstrate clear communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English, and to promptly follow verbal and written directions in English
- Requires bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and crawling on uneven surfaces, and climbing equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
- Ability to travel as needed to other offices and work sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED certificate
- M ust ha v e and maintain v alid state-issued dri v er’s l icense, be e l igible to dri v e a Co m pany v ehicle and m eet the requirements of the Co m pan y ’s vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines
- Five (5) or more years work experience in a similar function
- Must possess 2+ years of cementing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
