Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Full-Time Server/Bartender for our summer "pool season" who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. The Server/Bartender will be a member of a dynamic team who provides service and support to our hotel guests and residents. This position reports to the Pool Supervisor. Following the summer season, this position will transfer into another role within the food & beverage department of the hotel. U.S. work authorization is required for this position.

Key Elements of the Job

• Offer friendly and prompt service to our guests
• Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
• Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the food server using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the guest’s original order; anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits and mixed drinks including origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beets, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
• Maintain an accurate inventory count, process log entries for voids and spillage, cut and prepare fruits and other beverage garnishments.
• Assistance with preparation and distribution of hourly pool amenities when needed

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Hospitality-oriented and willing to go above and beyond for our guests and residents
• Strong command of the English language (multi-lingual preferred)
• Ability to work outdoors in sunny and warm conditions
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to work in a fast paced work environments
• Valid Washington state food handler's license and Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification is required
