Located in the center of Gatlinburg, the gateway to Smoky Mountain National Park, this resort has 163 rooms and suites, Spa, Margaritaville inspired License To Chill Bar & Grill and Joe Merchants coffee shop, 4,000 square feet of meeting space and additional scenic outdoor event space. Job Description
Servers are the key to delivering great guest service and ensure that they provide a memorable experience, from greeting to departure. Bartenders prepare and serve drinks with some food service to customers and are able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with customers’ needs and expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, reviews specials and menu options.
- Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items.
- Maintain service station, before, during and after shift to ensure proper set-up and cleanliness. Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer.
- Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Engage guests to create a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
Requirements
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well with minimum supervision.
- Must have reliable attendance and positive attitude.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Possess a valid TABC Server Permit or be able to obtain one.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
