We are looking to hire servers, kitchen helper and Busser to join our fast-paced, tight-knit team at Shabu Wara Hot Pot and Sushi ! Previous experience is necessary, preferably at a Japanese restaurant.

Server

Responsible for interacting with our guests and ensuring they have an excellent dining experience. Responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly, timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry preferred.

• Basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits, and sake preferred.
• Where applicable, holds a state and/or local food handlers card.
• Ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be 18 years of age or older or in accordance of state law.
• High School diploma or GED preferred. Equivalent combination of education/experience will be considered.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work different shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Work in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced
• Providing friendly and attentive service
• Flexible scheduling
• At least 6 months experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
• Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive
• Must be able to assist guests and possess great guest relations skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs. as needed
• Continuous use of hands and arms

Pay: $15.00 per hour + Tips
