We are seeking a Senior Team Lead, Accounts Receivable to join our team. This position requires expertise in invoicing including reconciling projects that have ended to identify lagging costs, unbilled ICRV, and fixed fees, and ensuring these items are invoiced. Additionally, this position will be required to reconcile Unbilled AR, and prepare closeout and final invoices. This position is also expected to provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
Responsibilities:
- Review projects that have ended, identify unbilled costs, Indirect Cost Rate Variances (ICRV), and fixed fees, determine if identified costs are billable to the client, and prepare and issue required invoices
- Complete closeout and final invoices
- Reconcile the Unbilled Accounts Receivable balances
- Review contract documents to ensure accurate invoicing
- Prepare routine schedules and reports including, but not limited to; journal entries, year-end supporting audit schedules, and monthly account reconciliations
- Maintain a Area Director portfolio of projects which are to be invoiced monthly or as required by the applicable contract
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience by providing technical guidance and support
- Continue to build knowledge of government invoicing policies and procedures
- Assist with resolving invoice discrepancies
- Answer inquiries and investigate questions from internal project teams and external clients
- Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
- Requires in-depth knowledge of department processes and procedures
- Actively support the advancement of organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, and apply diversity, equity, and inclusion lens across job responsibilities
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed
Functional Knowledge (Preferred):
- Experience with government compliant software including Deltek Costpoint
- Experience in government invoicing
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
- Knowledge of Agiloft a plus
- Ability to work independently
Position Requirements:
- An associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Five plus years’ experience as a biller
- A combination of equivalent education and work experience may be substituted for the above requirements

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $50,000-$60,000. This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
