The Sr. Business Solutions Architect - PTP operates alongside the business and system product managers - mainly ERP system owners. This role is a critical collaboration point between the our business customer base and technical roles within Crocs and HEYDUDE. You will be accountable for the review, analysis, modification, and promotion of business requirements as well as the translation of these requirements with technical terms to the technical community. The BSA must be able to provide IT leadership to the business community and will serve as a conduit for all business problems and request to IT. This person is responsible for product lifecycle and decisions within the Procure to Pay function.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Facilitate and assist with business process design and configuration of corporate ERP or related Corporate Application systems
- Serve as a conduit between the business process owners (Supply Chain, Procurement, Sourcing, etc.) and ERP technical resources (handles services, SI partners, ERP product managers)
- Facilitate reviews of functional specifications and serve as a resource for businesspeople crafting requirement documents
- Review and consult on business processes, design problems, and make recommendations for process improvement
- Work with ERP technical resources, middleware developers, SI partners, led service groups and other internal and external IT resources to clarify business requirements
- Facilitate, translate, and support the documentation of business processes in conjunction with Business Functional owners and assist with translation to ERP configurations and data needs
- Consult and review functional unit test procedures to ensure development aligns to business requirements and functional specs prior to release for UAT
- Facilitate development of high-level system design and road map for all ERP modules plus other system integrations
- Provide input to strategic direction of the business and technology development opportunities to drive Crocs business needs
- Use knowledge of business operations to understand information needs of the business unit and recommend the best technology to meet those needs
- Continuously expand knowledge in business and technical areas within Crocs Corporate Applications systems
- Establish and further relationships with the SMEs, BPOs and business partners using the specific solution. Assist in identifying new and emerging employees to fill these roles
- Assist with software portfolio management for Corporate Application solutions regionally
- Handle regional project initiating, planning, completing, monitoring, controlling, and closing of IT projects
- Build sufficient project documentation, artifacts, regular project status reports and project collaboration sites for project teams
- Support management of quality, resources, cost, and procurement of resources as requested for a specific project
- Lead implementation of projects within scope and time constraints
- Experience and a desire to become a leader within the IT team
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Deep functional experience in the Procure to Pay arena either from the business side or IT / project side
- 6-10 years IT support and/or project experience with shown ability to delivery project work on time and within scope and 6-10 years working in an ERP environment with participation in several implementations/rollouts
- Expert knowledge of the most used business applications.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud (preferable) or SAP (optional) including related integration to 3rd party systems.
- Outstanding analytical and product management skills required, including a detailed understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
- Excellent written/verbal English communication skills are a must to connect with all levels of personnel (end-user to senior management to technical staff). Regional language proficiently strongly desired
- Excellent organizational, time management, and administrative skills to excel at coordinating multiple projects and priorities simultaneously and flexibly adapting to change
- Shown success in leading team members who do not directly report to you
