Together with you, the inter-disciplinary team unites all the capabilities required to run a digital business model: chemical domain expertise, marketing and communication, software architecture, software development, devops and data science.
Our tech stack consists of various parts using Java, Angular, Node.js and Python, running on GCP utilizing the most appropriate managed service ranging from Cloud Functions to Kubernetes and even includes custom developed IoT solutions. We have a strong focus on automatizing and are enthusiastic to promote knowledge sharing via pair programming, shadowing and code review.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build and run various micro services that solve specific industry pain points
- Scale our services globally on Google Cloud to develop a dynamic chemical platform
- Work with clean code and modern architectural design patterns
- Work closely with domain experts to develop new digital products and enhance existing ones
- Continuous improvement of our technology stack and methodologies
- Share knowledge with team members to facilitate constant learning
- Break the organizational silos and encourage collaboration across business units and functions
REQUIREMENTS
- Master of Science or PhD in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, engineering or similar fields with an excellent degree
- 5+ years of programming experience with Java (Spring ecosystem)
- Experience with Software Architecture
- Experience and/or familiarity with Python, Typescript (Angular, Node.js)
- Experience with cloud infrastructures Google Cloud, AWS, Azure
- Broad Experience in working with agile development methodologies and with leading sub teams
- Proactive, innovative mind and highly skilled in conceptual thinking
