Senior Sales Manager

The purpose of this role is to develop and pitch long-term digital media and data partnership agreements with global Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs) in the European region. Key focus is on new business development along with upselling/cross-selling opportunities.

As part of the International Commercial Hospitality team, this role reports directly into DMO sales leadership whilst also working closely with the regional Amadeus teams to leverage and cross sell additional opportunities.

Travel is required frequently to meet potential DMO partners in order to pitch and present our strong value proposition.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Develop key relationships with DMO decision makers, and pitch Amadeus Hospitality Solutions with a focus on developing new revenue across all Amadeus Hospitality solutions as per agreed targets;
  • Lead Generation - sourcing new leads and building an active pipeline of business;
  • Respond to complex (RFP) request for proposals, negotiate with government department/agencies to ensure long-term wins for Amadeus against other competitors. Meeting strict timelines to respond to responses on time;
  • Keeping up to date with all relevant products and platforms and associated internal trainings;
  • Partner with DMOs and account managers to develop travel campaigns across all Amadeus digital media platforms which deliver strong results and lead to renewed campaign bookings.

About the ideal candidate:

  • You are really comfortable managing long sales cycles with many stakeholders;
  • You have an AdTech background, that’s definitely a plus;
  • You are results-driven and can meet demanding sales goals;
  • You are someone self-organized, exhibit self-management;
  • You can develop new partnerships with direct clients and media agencies, and you love networking;
  • You can develop Travel campaigns (display, video, mobile);
  • You are a team player and you like to work in close collaboration with other departments;
  • You have strong negotiation skills and strong analytic capabilities;
  • You can speak, write and express yourself in English – our company’s working language – in a professional context.
  • French and other languages are highly desired.
