About the role:

Ancestry is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive mobile strategy and execution for our DNA product offering. Ancestry is the largest consumer DNA network in the world, enabling over 23M people to connect with their heritage and their living relatives, as they look to better understand themselves and where they come from.

You will join a scrappy, passionate team of PMs, designers, engineers, data scientists, and user researchers as you champion the needs of our users, forwarding our mobile-first DNA experiences. This position offers a significant opportunity to impact key performance indicators through activating our largest segment of inbound users, and guiding them further into the Ancestry ecosystem.

You will succeed in this role by identifying product opportunities, creating a vision & roadmap, validating that vision through rapid prototyping, measuring effectiveness, and partnering across the organization to bring your vision to market.

What you will do...

  • Develop and execute the mobile roadmap for the DNA product, working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, User Research, Data, and Customer Support.

  • Create a product vision, driving alignment within your team, with leadership, and with stakeholders

  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer insights, market research, and business objectives, balancing prioritization needs across both the Mobile and DNA organizations.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that meet user needs and business requirements.

  • Work with engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of features and enhancements.

  • Leverage foundational user research, conduct user testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve the experience and champion the voice of the customer.

  • Analyze and report on key performance metrics related to the DNA mobile product.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure Ancestry's mobile DNA product remains competitive and innovative.

  • Reports to Director of Product - Mobile

Who you are...

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Product Design, or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, preferably in a consumer-facing, data-driven company. Mobile product experience is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of mobile app development processes, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Proven track record of shipping successful mobile products/features and driving business impact.

  • Experience with A/B testing, user research, and data analysis.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, working across multiple groups within a larger organization.

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position: $80,000 - $226,000 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision.
