Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Senior Assembler to join our team in the Portsmouth, NH office.


Position Overview:

The Senior Micro-assembler is responsible for placing, gluing, mounting, and assembling sensors and sub-assembling catheters.


How you contribute:

  • Mix and prepare 2 component adhesives and silicone.
  • Work and handle microscope.
  • After being trained accordingly, backup as additional resource in manufacturing processes, (e.g., but not limited to):
    • Product final testing.
    • Sleeve manufacturing.
    • Cable manufacturing.
    • Supporting Repair Department.
    • Shipping of Finished Goods.
    • Material Ordering.
  • Report all non-conformity product issues to Production Team Leader.
  • Assist Team Leader in assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to the standard production procedures and quality standards for all work performed.
  • Adhere to all hygiene and security standards of the company.
  • Follow GMP, Work Safety, and ISO13845 requirements as enforced by:
    • GMP: Food and Drug Administration 21 CFR.
    • Employee Handbook USDoc11-230.
    • ISO 13485:2016 Medical devices - Quality management systems - Requirements for regulatory purposes.
    • Safety Handbook USDoc13-2456.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • 2-4 years of assembly experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
  • Ability to work on 3 workstations or more. In addition, provide guidance to other team members.
  • Able to read and understand work instructions.
  • Must possess ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to use a microscope and miniature tools such as tweezer and scalpel.
  • Requires production work with ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, sitting for several hours, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting.
  • Must possess ability to effectively measure using basic measuring equipment such as pin gages, micrometers, luer taper gages and rulers.
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and be a team player.
