How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Individual contributor role who is an expert in creating and managing innovative hybrid learning solutions that drive individual performance and business impact. Serves as a source of instructional design advice and coaching for business leaders and various learning partners.
25%: Runs Learning & Development operations like a consulting business: Build a strong portfolio of internal customer relationships, becoming the advisor of choice. Translate needs and wants into tangible business metrics; track progress towards those metrics and reporting. Conduct quality assurance and continuous improvement activities for existing learning solutions.
60%: Builds commercial-grade learning solutions: Translate needs and wants into practical learning solutions that have meaning in the work and culture. Work individually and with teams to design, develop and implement innovative and high quality programs (build, buy or some combination). Advise local teams on learning-related issues.
15%: Develops ISD and facilitation skills in others: Coach and mentor COE and local learning professionals with complex ISD and facilitation challenges. Establish ISD and facilitation quality standards.

Open to remote candidates; however must have a strong internet connection and must be willing to work primarily during eastern time work hours (occasionally may need to join early morning calls with France and evening calls/events with the US west coast)
Required Education:
-
Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Business or other related fields; advanced degrees and certifications preferred
Required Length & Type of Experience:
-
10+ years of business experience in a large corporate setting.

at least 8 years experience in a learning role
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
-
Mastery of fundamental concepts of high quality instructional design

Well-versed in learning theories and practices

Integrates theory and concepts into practice-based learning solutions customized to the business

Can demonstrate practical application of visual design principles that accelerate learning process

Proven ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and to influence decisions that lead to learning solutions that have impact

Adept in presenting to highest organizational leadership groups; comfortable in being expected to be the expert

Strong facilitation skills with a variety of audiences - in-person and virtual

Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with others to get things done - listening to translate into practical goals or actions; concise emails/reports of status updates, issues and resolutions.

Ability to independently prioritize time and effort across multiple projects and demands.
