POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Human Resources Generalist will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resources department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assists with preparation of human resource reports such as birthday and anniversaries, third party vendor imports and others as needed.
- New hire reporting including but not limited to DWD, I-9 verification process, etc. as directed.
- Assist with internal HR audits to ensure compliance.
- Assist with processing new hire paperwork when needed.
- Conduct phone screens, scheduling in person interviews, reviewing resumes, tracks status of candidates in ATS responds with follow-up emails along with maintaining ATS.
- Performs customer service functions by answering phones, answering frequently asked questions from applicates and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers complex questions to appropriate HR team member.
- Assist HR Coordinator with wellness benefits communication and engagement, including but not limited to Bellin onsite clinic, chiropractic services, fitness center, etc.
- Assist HR Coordinator with benefit enrollments for new hires and open enrollment.
- Updating and verifying internal databases, as directed, including but not limited to HRIS, 401k, third party vendors, etc.
- Provide administrative work; including but not limited to scheduling meetings, updating job descriptions, booking travel, making copies, mail, scans, emails documents, phone list, etc.
- Manage life cycle of temporary staff; first day through last day or conversion to direct hire; updating and maintaining all staffing sheets and third-party vendors (i.e., Open Timeclock).
- Manage weekly temporary staff timecard reports; including but not limited to sending to leaders for approval, saving approved timecards, submitting to correct staffing agency on time, auditing staffing agency invoices against approved timecards on file, and submitting for payment.
- Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; required
- Associates Degree in Human Resources or related field; preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or relatable field; a plus
Experience:
- 3-5 years of human resources or directly relatable experience; required
Computer Skills:
- Experience working with multiple computer programs simultaneously; required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; required
- Paycom HRIS and Applicant Tracking System experience; a plus
- People Element experience; a plus
Essential Skills:
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Working demonstration of maintaining highest level of confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational, time management and attention to details with proven ability to meet deadlines while multitasking.
