The Opportunity:

Your role at Sephora:

As a Senior Engineer at Sephora, you will: perform test activities for all phases of development. Design different types of load test model scenarios (scalability, load, endurance, spike, capacity, and batch processing to evaluate application throughput). Holiday readiness testing to ensure application systems sustain peak load and sudden surges of transaction traffic. Perform monitoring set up to gather OS level statistics and application metrics. Identify software application performance bottlenecks. Participate in war room sessions to troubleshoot performance issues, validate application fixes and provide sign off to roll out in production. Support offshore team members with performance project needs. Train new team members in best practices and methodologies. Build and maintain software infrastructure for performance test suites enabling CI/CD framework. Work with architecture development partners and contribute to the overall IT architecture to build highly scalable applications. Perform mobile application device level testing to measure performance statistics of battery consumption, memory usage, and response time. (Position allows some work-from- home flexibility, with schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work on site as required.)

We are excited about you if you have:

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in software development and testing.

Experience must include:

• JMeter;
• Blazemeter;
• Dynatrace;
• Microsoft Azure Kubernetes and Docker Cloud and Container Platforms;
• Python;
• Redis cache performance tuning;
• Cosmos DB;
• Java JVM performance tuning;
• GCeasy; and
• Jenkins CI/CD Performance automation.

Salary: $149,989 to $161,000 per year depending on experience
