Responsibilities include:

  • Identify, develop, and execute a pipeline of qualified opportunities in support of the client’s growth objectives to include a full array of capture strategies (new capture, incumbent capture, sole-source, etc.).
  • Must have a proven track record of closing deals
  • Building, developing, and managing trusted relationships with key agency decision makers and executives to promote client’s and position the company to pursue and win opportunities.
  • Managing all business development efforts of the client, while leading efforts to understand ongoing customer requirements and capture follow-on business.
  • Creating and deliver effective client presentations and proposals that address the specific needs of a client.
  • Developing and executing business development plans and coordinating business development efforts with the executive leadership team to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Developing the marketing strategy and actively participating in industry events for customer relationship building.
  • Identifying teaming opportunities with other contractors with complementary products and services and managing such relationships effectively.
  • Supporting the proposal preparation and development processes by providing customer and competitive insights.
  • Leading by example to actively exemplify client’s vision, culture, and strategies.
  • Will manage the company new business investment budgets
  • Mange and lead proposal teams throughout the proposal process, from early opportunity identification through proposal submittal.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Federal government contracting field with at least 5 years of experience in business development and/or capture experience.
  • Unquestionable integrity and character
  • Supporting the proposal preparation and development processes by providing customer and competitive insights.
  • Successful track record of developing leads, proposal development, and winning contracts with the DoD, GSA and other federal agencies.
  • Experience with Hardware/Software Engineering and IT solutions and services including Agile Transformation, Cloud Solutions, and Data Visualization and Analytics
  • Experience in the Government proposal process and working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations, applicable state, and local acquisition regulations.
  • Experience with the General Services Administration schedules program and multi-award IDIQ contracts.
  • Proficiency in tracking potential opportunities and forecasting accurately on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, demonstrated management and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work independently, multitask and coordinate activities across a range of functional areas.
  • Must be able to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced work environment with strict deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, including comfortable presenting to senior executives.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Office, Word).
  • Professional and confident while striking a balance with humility. Flexible “can do” approach.
  • Some travel will be required

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in business, engineering, or related field

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

  • Active Top Secret preferred; Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance required.
  • U.S Citizenship required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
