A neat and clean environment is essential for world-class patient care. In this position, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties relevant to the cleaning and sanitation of the hospital cafeteria and/or kitchen. Tasks include: * Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, washing walls, doors, windows, light fixtures and vents * Discarding trash in waste bins, clean, sanitize and reline all trash containers * Responsible for cleaning and storing equipment * Complete special cleaning assignments This is a part-time "as needed" per diem position; schedule and working hours will vary. In addition to the Ronald Reagan Medical Center, this position may be required to work at other UCLA Health sites including the Santa Monica Hospital. May convert to Career Salary Range: $24.32-24.32 Hourly

Required: * Able to read and write standard English. * Ability to work in a standing position for a long period of time; stretch, bend, walk, stoop and reach repetitively in hot, cold, and/or wet areas. * Ability to lift 40 pounds, and pull/push up to 350 pounds. * Ability to practice safe food handling techniques. * Must have the ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and adhere to production schedules. * Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers. * Ability to travel to multiple UCLA Health locations.
