Keeping it real–when it comes to weight health–is the name of the game for WeightWatchers' Brand Strategy/Content team. We are passionate about storytelling, reaching a diverse audience, and helping people on their journey through relatable, witty, and inspiring messaging.

What you will do

Using your clever writing and sharp proofreading skills, you will translate WeightWatchers' approach to nutrition and behavior change science into compelling marketing campaigns, website pages, articles, and more, with the objective of boosting performance through member recruitment and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitch and execute content strategy that helps drive business growth, increases brand awareness, and generates sign-ups on WeightWatchers.com

  • Edit/write landing pages, offer copy, site modals, and more to educate prospects on our program, boost lead generation, bring our USPs to life, and reflect the brand's modern ethos and evolving science

  • Fully grasp and ensure our tone of voice is carried through all assignments—from long form landing pages to concise offer banners

  • Collaborate with other writers on the team and share top-performing content for cross-channel usage

  • Break down briefs and see projects through from start to finish

  • Submit copy that requires minimal to no top-editing

  • Work on multiple projects and high-volume copy needs under tight deadlines

  • Contribute to cross-functional brainstorms for brand and marketing campaigns

  • Utilize KPIs like conversions, clicks, and stat sig test results to inform copy and adjust as needed

Who you are:

With 5+ years of experience writing in the health and wellness space for established media brands, magazines, or agencies, you have both a creative and data-driven mindset. What you'll bring to the team:

  • A knack for crafting voice-y, thoughtful, clever copy that sells without sounding sales-y

  • An understanding of SEO and how to make SEO content unique

  • Impeccable attention to detail and unparalleled organizational skills

  • The ability to manage multiple and changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience interpreting qualitative/quantitative content performance analytics to inform content development

  • A deep interest and understanding of the cultural zeitgeist, and an ability to find unique angles and approaches that connect it to the WeightWatchers brand

  • A Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field (required)

Base salary may vary depending on, but not limited to: skills, experience, and location.

$90,000/yr to $95,000/yr
