Salary range: $116,000 - $126,000

Additional Compensation

Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain a MDSEA Configuration Management process in accordance with EIA-649C standards.
  • Effectively implement Configuration Management (CM) functions across MDSEA Delivery Teams, to include:
  • CM Planning and Management
  • CM Identification
  • CM Configuration
  • Configuration Status Accounting
  • Configuration Verification and Audit
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining Technical Baselines comprised of requirements, architectural, and
  • engineering baselines.
  • Establish and implement Enterprise-level Configuration Management and Change Management processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Coordinate efforts with Delivery Teams and personnel to standardize Configuration Management principles across the entire MDSEA organization.
  • Drive a team-oriented focus on Configuration Management by building strong relationships across the program for a more integrated approach across MDSEA.
  • Provide Test/Event support as needed for key exercises and events to ensure proper Configuration Management during events.
  • Collaborate with all MDSEA Team Leads and Subject Matter Experts to integrate Configuration Management principles across the program.
  • Ability to establish and define metrics and Key Performance Indicators to identify areas of improvement on the Configuration Management program.
Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 14 years of general experience; Associate’s degree and 12 years of general experience; Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of general experience; Master’s degree and 8 years of general experience
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
  • Have 8 years of directly related experience.
  • Have 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience with Enterprise IT Governance and/or Change Management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to brief senior military and government officials.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to coordinate meetings and working groups.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suites.
Desired Requirements:

  • Technical Master’s Degree
  • Leadership/management/supervisory experience with the ability to mentor team personnel in achieving professional and personal goals
  • Risk Management experience
  • Space Domain and/or IT Operations experience
  • Experience with Engineering and Technical Review Boards
  • Familiarity with EIA-649C Configuration Management Standards
  • Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CySA, etc.) or higher
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues effectively to a variety of stakeholders
  • Be able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Detail oriented with creative problem solving skills
